Sultana High School Concert Band
The Sultana Concert Band is a winds-only class comprised of beginner/intermediate students and those with developing playing abilities. Students that are brand new to playing a band instrument, have 1-2 years of experience, or are interested in learning a secondary instrument should enroll in this class.
In this class, students will develop the basics and fundamentals of wind instrument playing, musicianship, notation, and music reading.
Students who have shown acceptable progress can audition or will be recommended for the Symphonic Band class once they show sufficient growth and skill level on their instrument.
NOTE: For the 2021-2022 school year, this class will be held at the same time as our String Orchestra class, and will play literature both combined and separate.
