Sultana Arts Academy

Sultana High School offers an excellent and enriching Academy pathway program for students who wish to expand their musical knowledge and experience through the Sultana Arts Academy.

Being a member of the Academy brings many perks and benefits, including for graduating seniors. Students who successfully complete the Academy program with a B or better in all academy courses will receive the Academy medallion that can be worn proudly at graduation. Additionally, students who graduate with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better earn Academy Music Honors, which qualifies them to wear the pink Music Honors graduation stole!

Requirements for successfully completing the Academy's Instrumental or Vocal Music pathway are:
  • Registering for the program and being placed with a Pathway Advisor
  • Enrollment in 4 performing ensemble classes (appropriate to emphasis and level) and passing all with a B or better throughout your high school career
    • Music ensemble courses from other schools or at the collegiate level may be considered based on Advisor's discretion
  • Enrollment and successful completion of Sultana's Music Theory course with a B or better during student's Senior year (or Junior year with Advisor's permission)
  • Submitting a final (unofficial) transcript to your Pathway advisor by the deadline at the end of senior year to complete your paperwork and confirm eligibility of Academy completion
